This Privacy Policy explains how Zayeen, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the EduPlayKids website and online service at www.eduplaykids.com (the "Service"). EduPlayKids is an educational service for young children that is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. A Note for Parents & Guardians

EduPlayKids is designed to be used by children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Accounts are created and managed by an adult (18 years or older). The limited information we hold about a child is provided by the responsible adult when they create the child's profile. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from a child than is reasonably necessary to provide the Service, and we never require a child to disclose personal information to play. Parents and guardians can review, update, or delete their child's information at any time (see Section 10).

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

Parent/guardian account: email address and a password (stored securely) used to create and access the account.
Child profile: a name or nickname, date of birth (used to suggest an age-appropriate difficulty), gender, and a chosen avatar. You decide what to enter — a nickname is enough.
Payment information: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number; we may retain limited billing records such as plan, status, and transaction identifiers.
Communications: messages you send us (for example, support requests).

Information collected automatically:

Learning activity: which categories and items a child has played and mastered, scores, and progress, so we can save progress and show reports.
Technical & usage data: IP address, browser and device type, language preference, and basic usage such as pages visited and time of access.
Cookies: small files used to keep you signed in and remember preferences (see Section 5).

We do not collect precise geolocation, and we do not request access to your camera, microphone, or contacts.

3. How We Use Information

To provide and operate the Service, including saving each child's learning progress.
To suggest an age-appropriate difficulty and personalize the learning experience.
To process Premium subscriptions and manage billing.
To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
To respond to your requests and send important service notices.
To improve the Service using aggregated, non-identifying usage information.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service); consent, including a parent or guardian's consent for a child's data; and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences such as language. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising to children. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising to children. We share information only:

With trusted service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, website hosting and our payment provider, Stripe), under agreements that require them to protect the data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
When required by law, or to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or the Service.
In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Because EduPlayKids is directed to children, we take their privacy seriously and limit the information collected about a child to what is needed to run the Service. Child profile information is provided by a parent or guardian through the adult account, which serves as verifiable parental consent. We do not condition a child's participation on disclosing more information than is reasonably necessary, and we do not knowingly allow a child's personal information to be used for advertising. A parent or guardian may review the child's information, ask us to correct or delete it, and refuse further collection or use by deleting the child's profile or account.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, or as needed to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information, including secure password storage and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Parents and guardians may exercise these rights on behalf of their child, and can review or delete a child's profile at any time from within the account. 11. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and the information we process may be stored and handled in the United States or other countries. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

12. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may rely on third-party providers (such as our payment provider) and may contain links to other sites. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
